The goal for this project was to deconstruct an old dilapidated shed at Christian Brothers Academy in Lincroft, NJ and construct a new shed in its place. This new shed is used to contain a small tractor, so construction of a ramp was also required.
Firstly, a frame for the foundation was dug and screwed together. Gravel was poured into the frame and tamped down. A platform was constructed and anchored into the foundation. The shed was assembled on top of this platform. Finally, the ramp was attached to the front of the wooden platform and assembled.
This project allowed me to gain construction, coordination, and leadership experience. I was awarded as an Eagle Scout by Troop 67 in Red Bank, NJ following the completion of this project.
